Profile Spice Rack Trader was set up in May 2000 by Husband and Wife, Dean (who is of Italian origin) and Gurdeep (who is of Indian origin). Because of their roots, they use a wide variety of herbs, spices and other cooking ingredients which they found were not readily available. Due to their passion for cooking they began looking into the herb and spice industry.
As a Herb and Spice Trader, Spice Rack Trader buy in a vast range of herbs and spices. Extensive research and product sampling is carried out to ensure that each product is what Spice Rack Trader is looking for in terms of quality.
All the herbs and spices are hand packed and Gurdeep and Dean have always believed that their packaging should protect the herbs and spices and that the product should be clearly visible. They have recently introduced new packaging which has been specially designed to protect and keep fresh the herbs and spices. Each herb and spice is sealed in a laminated bag which has a barrier coating on the inside for protection and is beautifully labelled.
Not only are they constantly developing an innovating range, they also spend time writing, for example, Gurdeep's Indian Cookbook,which she has written to offer traditional home-cooked Indian recipes and they have many other projects some of which they are currently working on and details of which will be made available on the website.
The aim of Spice Rack Trader has always been to buy in quality herbs and spices as well as stocking a large range of other cooking ingredients to compliment cooking with herbs and spices and they understand that food lovers require good ingredients, good quality, competitive prices and inspiration.
